- A good purchase for anyone that doesn't want to fork out stacks to get a proper iPhone docking station....I bought this as a present for my mum and thought that, if it wasn't very good, at least I didn't pay an arm and a leg for it. To my surprise, it was actually not that bad! My mum was quite impressed and, for all that the sound quality wasn't perfect, it's not to be sniffed at.
My feelings can be summed up by the following points:
1. It amplifies the sound (good)

- good value for what it doesI don't know what i was expecting from this product, but here are the facts!
All it does is make the ultra tinny sound from the iphone louder!!! the charge adapter is great! so if you want a charger stand this will look good on the office desk, if you want sound from your iphone, buy something that plugs into a socket!

- Absolutely uselessIt doesn't seem to amplify the sound in any way, I guess it's a good looking dock, but as an amplifier it doesn't seem to work at all. I am using a iPod touch 3rd generation. I tried removing my cover, I tried both the different rubber spacers and also using no spacer. No extra sound at all. A bit disappointed.

- Great for 3G or 3GS, doesn't work with iPhone 4This is a great little dock for the 3G and 3GS. However do not buy one for the iPhone 4, the inserts do not fit the casing of the 4 properly, and Apple have moved the speaker from the left to the right. This means that the duct which channels sound is on the wrong side of the aircurve. One way around this would be to dock the phone back to front. Not ideal but would work.
