- A great little cameraI am fussy about my photographs and I wanted a quality camera which would give quality results but wouldn't be so heavy to carry around as my SLR. The Canon lens hasn't let me down. I hadn't realised how much control I could have with such a small camera. I am very pleased with this camera.

- Easy to use Canon with ViewfinderMy old Canon A710 was stolen during a break-in. I wanted another camera - for work and pleasure. It seems that Canon are still producing good quality cameras with viewfinders - very few manufacturers do nowadays. It arrived safely and was really easy to get started - batteries provided, but will replace with Eneloops when they run out. The card supplied was too small, so got a 4gb card for under a tenner. - FantasticI purchased two of these in June-2010, one for me and another for a family member.
My main reasons for purchasing the canon was that
I needed a camera with a viewfinder as I find screens are impossible to use on a bright day,
also I am not a fan of camera specific lithium batteries.
If the battery goes flat in the jungle (seaside) where do you charge it up?
With the canon you carry spare AA rechargeable or you can buy ordinary AA batteries anywhere.
