these were the cheapest CD's I could find, Which I paid slightly over £6 for! I just wanted them for burning 80 min audio CD's and they do the job so I'm happy.

Rating: - The first bad thing I have ever bought from Amazon
A bit of background - I have been burning CDs for years. Normally I buy Verbatim, Sony, TDK or Memorex, and I have never - EVER - had a failure. I decided to try these extra-value Amazon ones. They are very thin, semi-transparent, and smell of cheap sweets. Do they work? Well, no. About 1 in 4 writes successfully first time. 2 out of 4 write on the third or fourth attempt (the CD writer seems to time out on the other occasions). The remaining 1 out of 4 fails to write ever. Rating: - Does the job well
I have gone through about 15 of these discs now (all for music) and have not had a problem with any not recording data properly or not being able to play in a CD player. It's has been a long long time since I have had issues with blank CDs that don't record properly, so I didn't expect anything less from the Amazon Basics discs. Nonetheless they have so far performed well.

Yes they work but for how long very flimsy product its transparent you can see right through the disk.
I would not buy again.
