For those who can't get enough of those Barney songs, here's a made-for-video show packed full of song and dance. The story line is oh-so thin as Barney and his friends sing 27 songs in only 56 minutes, so Barney is usually singing or introducing a new song. For anyone with the American series, most of the songs are Barney standards: "Mr Sun", "The Airplane Song", "Baby Bop Hop", and "I Love You". They are mixed in with all-time favourites such as "Itsy Bitsy Spider", "A Camping We Will Go" and the like. Many of Barney's original kid friends return looking much older and wiser. No big landmark production here, just a "greatest hits" of Barney tunes that should have fans singing and dancing around the tube for nearly an hour. --Doug Thomas, Amazon.com

I work in a nursery with children aged 18 to 24 months and whenever the tv comes out they always ask for this video. The songs are very catchy (so parents, watch out, you'll be singing along in no time!), and it keeps the children glued to the tv for ages. Well worth the money.

OK, you may not like Barney but face it, your kid does. This is my almost 2-year-old daughter's second-favorite video, after the one of herself playing in the park... We sing Flying in the Airplane and Hey Mr. Knicker Bocker Boppity Bop at some point every day. The video kids, from that gorgeous little blond girl to the Prince Edward lookalike are very sweet and cheerful. Rating: - Entertained my 15 month old son more than any other video
Excellent video, colourful characters with lively songs. My 15 month old son was glued to the telly for about 20 mins solid, no other cartoon has captivated him quite like it. Although Barney is an American programme I think it is quite suitable for British children.
